Enter Fire Horse

As we step into 2026, I’m feeling the tenderness of this moment and the call to begin the year in ways that feed my soul: art, healing, nature, and connection. This year feels potent already and with the Lunar New Year ahead, a shedding is happening and a charge ahead into a new frontier seems inevitable, both personally and globally.

I’ve recently returned from a Yoga Retreat in Baja at a special place called Yandara, led by one of my favorite Yoga instructors, Raissa Lerner. Daily practice, meditation, ocean air, whales cruising by, baby turtles, fur friends (see pic), lovely community and a rainbow at the end to magically seal the inspiration of the trip. It was exactly the reset I needed and the perfect container to listen to my body and reflect on this year ahead.

As I move into this Fire Horse year, shedding the year of the Snake, I will be slowly and intentionally stepping away from the lash portion of my business and leaning more towards my healing and wellness work, as well as my intuitive and creative practices. I’m so deeply grateful for my clients and the 15-year chapter of my lash career. Truly, what an honor it’s been to share space with so many of you.

I’ll be sharing more as these changes take form. For now, this first step is simply saying it out loud. Here’s to the bold and powerful Fire Horse, may the energy be a catalyst for positive change for all, and growth towards a more loving future.
